Bonnier Corporation No. 1 in Ad Pages

Bonnier Corp. leads in ad page growth among the six major U.S. publishers in first quarter.

Bonnier Corp. had the biggest jump in ad pages - up 19 percent - among the six major U.S. magazine publishers in the first quarter of 2011, according to data from MagazineRadar and reported by trade publication Folio. The data also showed Bonnier had the highest number of individual brands advertising in its magazines in the first quarter at 1,608.

Advertising pages increased in 12 of Bonnier Corporation's titles, nine of which experienced double-digit gains. Field & Stream increased more than 20 percent. Not far behind were Outdoor Life and Popular Science, with gains in the 19 percent range, and Salt Water Sportsman and Sport Fishing, also with increases in the teens.

The other magazines that increased ad pages were Cruising World, Motor Boating, Popular Photography, Sound & Vision, TransWorld Motocross, TransWorld SURF and Yachting.
